NUZUL AL-QURAN

Elementary Knowledge:
NUZUL AL-QURAN or the commemoration of the revelation of the Holy Quran falls on the 17th of Ramadhan and is one of the highlights of the holy month of Islam.
As Islam is the main religion in Brunei, various religious activities have been held throughout the holy month of Ramadhan to glorify the teachings of the holy book which culminates in the commemoration of the Nuzul Al-Quran.
Nuzul which roughly translates into the transfer or revelation refers to the revelation of the first verses of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) on the 17th of Ramadhan.
